TERRITORY
The rocks shaped by time tell ancient stories, while deep gorges and forests of holm oaks and juniper trees create a mosaic of wild colors and scents.

The area around Urzulei is a pure and wild landscape, dominated by the imposing mountains of Supramonte. Here, rocky plateaus alternate with forests of centuries-old holm oaks and juniper trees and deep gorges carved by water, such as the spectacular Gola di Gorropu, one of the deepest in Europe. The Flumineddu river meanders through the valleys, while ancient stone sheepfolds, the "cuiles", tell the story of the lives of the shepherds who have inhabited these lands for centuries. The uncontaminated nature and the wealth of caves, such as Su Palu and Su Spiria, make this area a paradise for lovers of hiking and speleology.
